Welcome to another week of #MySundaySnapshot, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating natural beauty. Click here for further information and guidelines on this linky if you wish to participate.

It’s been a hugely emotional week as our son completed his GCSE examinations and became a secondary school leaver. Following a day spent celebrating with friends, he got himself suited and booted ready for his prom. It was an honour to take him to the event, and as it was a little farther afield, my husband and I opted to spend the evening out enjoying a meal and taking a stroll around the local area to wile away the time.
It’s been many, many years since I last visited Central Grange. I fondly remember visiting the duck ponds as a child with my grandparents, thus it was a real treat to return to the same place with my husband and to enjoy a wander around the area whilst listening to the distinctly clear music that was being blasted from my son’s end of school celebrations a few miles up the road. I can’t imagine the locals were all that impressed with fifty-something teenagers rocking up and partying till all hours…
I must say, J looked utterly stunning in his Mark Darcy suit (I’ll post photos at some point), and the event was a huge success from start to finish.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post. I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your posts, social media shares, or comments on this post.

Congratulations! It’s a very exciting time, those next months where the world is their oyster and any future is possible. I really loved it. The offers roll in, but the delay in starting. It’s a golden time.
How exciting for him! It is definitely emotional when the kids leave school. (Can’t believe my youngest child has just finished her first year of uni!) Good luck to him for the future.
